The master thesis is major paper worth 20 credits, equivalent to one semester. It should result in a report of about hundred pages. Students at the program we study, Industrial Engineering and Management, almost always write their thesis in collaboration with a company. It is customary that the students solve a specific problem facing the company. Required from the company is an interest in helping the students and providing the resources to conduct the study. The university supports the students with academic advise on how to conduct the study. It is not expected that the company should teach the basics but rather share their experience and knowledge. We can start working with the thesis any time after March 15.
